welcoming 09 with a bang and a mic

Dear Audy,

Happy New Year!!

It was a Party Super NYE Singstar Party kinda year! As you may have gathered from what I wrote earlier, I was pretty down on 08 and really had some shaking off to do...the bang was the explosion of drunken energy that combusted in the room when the microphones came out...

I planned on having only a glass or two of wine...alcohol tends to make me pretty sick, pretty quickly...but when the ill feelings didn't roll in, I somehow kept ending up with another full glass...it was really nice wine! My drunkenness managed to dull my pain, knowing full well that I would pay for it later, I decided to take advantage and just have a good time...a little singing, a little dancing...it was so damn nice to move!!

I am paying, but I'm used to this...as you can see from the video, it was totally worth it!

The music is the Australian Idol winner for 2008...because I like Idol for the wins and the fails...and I believe Wes is the first contestant ever to give us nothing but wins...go Wes!
