Dear Audy,
Have you recovered yet? I am doing ok, my hands decided to flare last night but have calmed down again today so I'm just gonna take it easy on them...which should be easy because I can't open my google reader and that's where a lot of my clicking takes place...what's wrong today, google?
Holidays are kind of weird for me. I'm on holidays all the time. I guess because my situtation doesn't change, I have kind of gotten used to other people being about where I expect them to be in their normal lives. That is, I usually know when people are going to be at work and what not...there's a certain routine to everyday life. Holidays kind of throw that routine into the air like a clay pot and pull the trigger. I get confused, suddenly instead of going to work, my prince is going dancing. Suddenly my friends are around on random days. Even dear old TV abandons its routine for the Summer...sigh, how old do I sound? All of these are good things, I get to go out a bit and see people, I'm just saying it's weird how much extra energy it seems to take out of me...like I have even less control than normal.
I'll be bringing my RSD story up to date over the next couple of weeks, then I have quite a lot to say about different aspects of what it's like to live with this stupid pain. I'll also be able to let you know in Feb how my ketamine infusion goes...here's hoping!
For your viewing amusement today, a little leftover from NYE. This is a short, albeit enthusiastic interview with me regarding my chances of taking the Singstar crown...which apparently doesn't exist.
Love & Ruffled Routines,
Caf

i didn't even know this conversation took place.
perhaps i should have made a crown?
You've watched a lot of reality TV to get that impression done so perfectly.
A new TV concept: reality tv parodies followed by reality tv that parodies the parodies of reality tv.
y/y?
Also I've no effing idea whether this account will show me as me or as my work blog. It's Nadine of living-next-to-the-old-man-in-Simpson-Ct-fame.
Oh that's crap.
My work blog name shouldn't link to this one!!! Especially since it's out-of-order.
Let's try my LJ id and see if that works better.
Nadine again.
Ohh, I think there *definitely* needs to be a crown!
I recently discovered Sing Star on my friend's game system! Whee, now there's a game I can get into!
Great distraction from pain for me, too... plus tons of fun. :)
