keeping jolly with a little holly

Dear Audy,

It's been a trying week...the usual...jaw clicking about...legs malfunctioning...Heroes not coming back on TV yet...But who writes blogs just to complain? 80% you think? Maybe 85?

Complaining Clancy is not in the house today. It's all about fighting him off around here and keeping his anvil from over my head...

A few days ago I made it across the road to absorb some sunshine...it is the medicine of all medicines and once diluted with a little fresh air can be the perfect remedy for whatever ails you.

Thursday was exciting as I got to go out of the house at night. Yummy Mexican food in belly, a friend and I swayed and enjoyed a Holly Throsby show...preeeeeetttty music. I was all royal on my stool up the front...it was a very high stool....which it turned out I didn't really need because it turned out to be a sitting on the floor permitted gig...but then who wants to sit on the floor of the Corner Hotel? Ewk.

I love pretty music...I love everything about pretty music and it usually gets my creativity sparking. Thus, I spent a ridiculous amount of time without moving from my easel and making Ada pretty. I played with using my watercolour pencils directly dipped in water to create some thicker parts and definition. It was fun experimenting and I ended up with my first ever artist's hand!

I can't wait to show her to you, Audy. I've thought she was finished several times now...but I'm yet to make the declaration. Once that happens there will be a ribbon cutting and you are invited, with a place reserved in the royal balcony.

Love & Splatters,

Caf

SO happy you've had a happy time! And the painter's hand is lovely. Mine get messier than that, mind you. But I suppose you are only beginning! LOL!
