Dear Audy,
I have learned something important over the last couple of weeks.....learning takes time. Lots and lots of time. Oh, and reading. Lots and lots of reading.
That's what I've been up to, Audy. I've enrolled to study off-campus, going to finish my psychology degree. I give fabulous advice, simply stunning suggestions, so I'm looking forward to people paying me for that privilege :P
It's so great to have new information ricocheting around my head!
My enrollment was processed late (thanks Murphy) so I have been scrambling to finish my first assignment....which is now over....so I'm allowed to play again!
Ikea and I got together and built me a desk for my bedroom....now I have an 'art studio' so I can have a painting project and a sewing project on the go at the same time. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! However will I keep up with myself?
Here I am giving Ada a few layered touch ups.....I hope she appreciates that she has been given more time and attention than any other imaginaiad so far. I also wonder if that means that each time I paint one I will give it even more time and attention until I am actually capable of long term projects? Wouldn't that be exciting, Audy! In your face Gen Y instant gratification encoding.

Amazingly, despite my many bags made this year, I don't have a good, functioning cripple bag. I am going to rectify this. I'm calling the bag Gimpy. Gimps is going to have some pockets pilfered from an old shirt, it's something new I'm trying....they should be the easiest pockets ever. Here's what it looked like when the fabrics that will become her came together to fight for prominent positions in the design. I haven't told them yet who won out for pride of place...but I'm sure they'll figure it out when I start cutting. I hope dark blue isn't too angry at me covering most of him up....oh well, Audy, I'm sure we'll sort it out and all be able to get along...

Check me out, all busy and multi-projecting.
In your face chronic pain.
In other exciting news, I've never had a favourite flower before. Now I do! My darling surprised me last week with a gorgeous bouquet of tiger lilies. I love how they bloom in my vase all pretty like....

Love & Triumphs,
Caf

It is all wonderful news! I'm very proud of (and a bit envious) of all your efforts to overcome. Thank you so much for sharing your encouraging thoughts and life. Karirose
Despite the owies you are making marvellous progress. Ada was telling me the other day how proud she is of your long-term commitment to her.
